Page 7 - Equipment

What's important on this page?

Well, of course you need figures. And dive. And a measuring stick. And Terrain. The good news is that your DBx-based figures are pretty much already perfect for ADLG without need for any new Basing - although you may be tempted to do a bit once you get hooked. Some of the terrain sizes are a tad different, but your FoG/DBx terrain will be close enough for government work, at least for starters.

In terms of dice, realistically you only roll one at a time (or sometimes 2 in setting up terrain) but a handy tip is to have 5 of one colour and 1 of another colour. This means as well as having a choice of dice to roll if you are on a bad run of 1's, you can use the dice to mark the number of Orders your commands will have to make moves each turn.

Each General gets an Order (or pip in old money) of his own to use himself each turn, and they you get up to 5 extras orders to use on his or her command - so being able to put down 1 colour die for him, and up to 5 others for the units under his command, and then taking them away as you spend them is a handy aide memoire.
