10mm Wargames Miniatures

The 10mm & Military Museum Photo Directory - helping you choose the best figures for your 10mm WW2 and ACW armies.

It contains photos of all of my 10mm WW2 and American Civil War collections, plus many photos added by other users of the directory. You can use any of the links below to navigate around the directory, or use the "10mm" menu link above to go back to my main 10mm resource page.

This directory also contains pictures of various military museums and events I have been to over the past few years including the famous Kubinka Tank Museum just outside Moscow. You can also search the directory by manufacturer, army or keyword.

Anyone can rate the figures just by clicking on the stars beneath each photo. Ratings use a scale of 0-5 where 5 = excellent and 0 = terrible.

If you want to share your own painting and show off your figures to hundreds of gamers around the world, you can even upload your own photos here. Registration for uploading photos is easy and once registered you can also add comments to any of the photos and send any of these images as "e-cards" to your friends.

Tank, Cruiser, Comet I (A34) 4 viewsThe Tank, Cruiser, Comet I (A34) was a British cruiser tank that first saw use near the end of World War II. It was designed to provide greater anti-tank capability to Cromwell tank squadrons. It was armed with the 77mm HV which was effective against late war German tanks and a superior weapon to the 75mm gun of the Panther when firing APDS rounds.[2] As a development of the Cromwell, it was an interim design before the Centurion tank.madaxeMay 19, 2013

Tank, Infantry, Black Prince (A43)5 viewsTank, Infantry, Black Prince (A43) was the name assigned to an experimental development of the Churchill tank with a larger, wider hull and a QF 17-pounder (76 mm) gun. It was named after Edward, the Black Prince, a famous 14th century military leader. Black Prince prototype number four, at the Bovington Tank Museum (2008). M46 Patton3 viewsThe M46 was an American medium tank designed to replace the M26 Pershing and M4 Sherman. It was one of the U.S Army's principal medium tanks of the early Cold War, with models in service from 1949 to the mid-1950s. It was not widely used by U.S. Cold War allies, being exported only to Belgium, and only in small numbers to train crews on the upcoming M47.madaxeMay 19, 2013

Schützenpanzer SPz 11-2 Kurz3 viewsThe Schützenpanzer SPz 11-2 Kurz armored reconnaissance vehicle was developed for the West German army and was a minor modification of a French designed vehicle (Hotchkiss SP1A). During the period between 1958 to 1962, the West German army received some 2,374 of these light armoured vehicles with the SPz 11-2 Kurz being developed as the reconnaissance version. madaxeMay 19, 2013

Contentious3 viewsThe vehicle's role was for a flexible strategic response to conflicts around the last vestiges of Empire. Despite the low intensity of such conflicts, it was assumed that the increasing supply of Soviet T-54 tanks to satellite states would require an anti-tank capability greater than previous light tanks.madaxeMay 19, 2013

FV 4401 Contentious5 viewsFV 4401 Contentious was a prototype British air-portable tank destroyer of the early 1960s. At least one prototype was constructed and tested, although no production vehicles were built or saw service. This was not seen as a substitute for a main battle tank; one which would have to be heavily armed to deal with the massed and heavily armoured Soviet tanks of the Cold War. In particular, there was no attempt made at protection against the NBC threat that was expected for any European conflict.madaxeMay 19, 2013
