| Minifigs Pz IV (I think GV-08?) (long barrel, no spaced armour). One of my favourites. | ||
| The new Wargames South PzIV 'E/F/G' multi-part metal kit - part of their new re-modelled range. | ||
| Wargames South Pz IV E/F/G's, some with Pendraken infantry for size comparison | ||
| Wargames South Pz IV E/F/G's in 3-tone and ambush camo | ||
| Comparison shot - The Minifigs Pz IV (in grey) has been one of my favorite 10/12mm scale models for a while...but this new WS model runs it very close - or even beats it, by virtue of looking more chunkyThe WS gun barrel is noticeably more substantial.. | ||
| WS have separate tracks with a "back" to them - the Minifigs kit has "backless" tracks, allowing them to sag more - or bend more out of shape depending on how you look at it | ||
| ..and the 'H' model, with side skirts and turret armour. Comes with separate hull MG, rear exhaust assembly, tracks, barrel, skirts & armour, and a piece of track for adding wherever. | ||
| Wargames South Pz IV H in ambush scheme. I did the spots with the end of a cocktail stick | ||
| Wargames South Pz IV H in striped camo scheme - broadly taken from the WW2 modelmakers gallery | ||
| and with Pendraken infantry | ||
| Minifigs Panther (GV-03) | ![]() |
|
| Takara World Tank Museum Panther - the first one is in the supplied paint scheme, but with a number added by me, the 2nd and 3rd ones have been repainted | ||
| Compared to the Minifigs Panther. To my non-expert eye the Minifigs kit looks slightly too tall / too narrow in comparison. Front, side and RAF Typhoons views | ||
| The Wargames South Tiger | ||
| Minifigs Tiger 1(GV-02) showing my poor painting of German crosses. I now use stickers.... | ||

||
| Minifigs & Wargames South Tigers. Next to the Minifigs one, the WS looks more in proportion (Minifigs is a bit squashed vertically IMO) | ||
| The amazing Remote Control King Tiger from Takara (like, the model moves around on its own - follow the link here !) | ||

| Takara WTM Disguised Panther
(as US M10 Tank Destroyer).
A pretty cool "must have" toy for any late war German army, seen here with a "real" Minifigs M10 ! |
||
| Seen here from above, the detail of the separate plates used to create the M10 silhouette is clearly visible | ||
| E75. This tank never saw
production but it looks close enough to a King Tiger to stand in as one
with an added camo paintjob on the plain green original.
I only got it because it came in a pack with the Goliath demolition vehicle |
||
| Panzer III L (50mm Gun) showing kit components, and finished vehicle in early war grey. This variant uses the longer/more effective 50 mm L/60 gun | ||
| Panzer 3 M - essentially the same, but with a different exhaust assembly for fording rivers | ||
| Late version "M" series Panzer III, this time with Shurzen added protection | ||
| Panzer III N - late war variant with short barrel low-velocity 75 mm KwK37 L/24 gun, used when the tank became obsolete, and was reallocated to infantry support | ||
| All 4 variants together | ||
