To help you make sense of the battle report, here are some pictures of the individual units and figures used in my army in this competition

The Swiss Guard - red coats, Essex figures, Superior 5+1 Pike and Shotte, with Musket* and Inpact foot capability. They have bayonets, but the Pike base makes this irrelevant anyway

Swiss Guard pikemen. Watch out for the "Swiss Army Knife" gags in the photos!

French Guard - blue coats. All the Superior units have coloured coats

Guard officers

More Guard, lighter blue coats

Franco-German foote. This unit has no pikeman, and is Musket only. They have grey coats and yellow cuffs

Normal Average 5+1 Pike and Shotte, with Musket* and Inpact foot capability. All the Average units are in grey coats with coloured cuffs

Dragoons

Artillery, There is also a unit with green guns too

Superior Horse - Impact mounted, Determined Horse, Sword... Bit risky but fun. Beige coats

Superior Horse - Impact mounted, Determined Horse, Sword... the other unit, in blue coats

Elite Horse - a 2-strong unit of Pistol/Pistol Determined Horse...These are the only non-Essex troops in the army, with the riders being Hallmark figures from Magister Militum. The horses are Essex though.
