To help you make sense of the battle report, here are some pictures of the individual units and figures used in my Maratha army in this competition

FoGR Chinese Take Away: Maratha, 15mm

These are Old Glory Ottoman Janissaries - men in eastern dress with guns, appearing here as Warrior Musketeers. As Warriors they gain a ++ POA in overlap, but they cannot move as part of a Division with other troops. They are also some of the only troops with muskets in this period

FoGR Chinese Take Away: Maratha, 15mm

Warrior Musketeers from Lancashire Games Sudan ranges. The other aspect of Musketeers is that, like all firearm equipped troops they ignore enemy armour in combat, which is likley to prove useful on occassion in this sort of competition

FoGR Chinese Take Away: Maratha, 15mm

Lancashire Games Arab infantry with firearms. These are also playing as Warrior Musketeers

FoGR Chinese Take Away: Maratha, 15mm

More Old Glory Janissaries - this time with mixed weapons

FoGR Chinese Take Away: Maratha, 15mm

Essex Arab Spearmen, appearing as Maratha spearmen. Spears are decent when recieving a mounted charge, and against most things can hold their own whilst steady. Unusually the Maratha Spearmen are Heavy Foot, so do not suffer extra Cohesion Test negative modifiers when losing to mounted troops, and as HF will cause negative modifiers on all MF and Warrior infantry if and hopefully when they beat them in combat

FoGR Chinese Take Away: Maratha, 15mm

A mix of Essex and Grumpy's bowmen. These are classed as Warriors so can help a lot in overlap combat, but being otherwise unarmoured and in units of 6 rather than 8 are in this army primarily for rear support

FoGR Chinese Take Away: Maratha, 15mm

Legio Heroica Arab lancers, which are appearing here as Superior Unarmoured lancers.

FoGR Chinese Take Away: Maratha, 15mm

AEA3 Medium Cavalry from Essex's generic Arab ranges, used as Average Unarmoured lancers
