Historical Overview Section
The Sea Peoples are a seafaring confederation that attacked ancient Egypt and other regions of the East Mediterranean prior to and during the Late Bronze Age collapse (1200–900 BC).
Following the creation of the concept in the nineteenth century, it became one of the most famous chapters of Egyptian history, given its connection with, in the words of Wilhelm Max Müller: "the most important questions of ethnography and the primitive history of classic nations." Their origins uncertain, the various Sea Peoples have been proposed to have originated from places that include western Asia Minor, the Aegean, the Mediterranean islands, and Southern Europe. Although the archaeological inscriptions do not include reference to a migration, the Sea Peoples are conjectured to have sailed around the eastern Mediterranean and invaded Anatolia, Syria, Canaan, Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Egypt toward the end of the Bronze Age.
Using the army in ADLG
- This is a hard-hitting army with both Medium and Heavy Impetuous foot - you should take a mix of both
- The Heavy Foot can stand up to most things in period, even having the resilience to hold up Heavy Chariots for a while.

The vague theory of this list was that the HI (of course) go down the middle, and hope to face off against as many chariots as possible who will be drawn towards them to protect their own infantry, with the two big wings then putting out enough infantry to swamp anyone they face, even taking on enemy Light chariots with sheer numbers. It is also big enough to take a lot of punishment.
In reality it worked sometimes, but had no real answer at all to even a handful of HCh, and often struggled to overcome Armoured Light Chariots in a protracted scrum where their armour and quality counted in the long run.
