10mm Wargames Miniatures

The 10mm & Military Museum Photo Directory - helping you choose the best figures for your 10mm WW2 and ACW armies.

It contains photos of all of my 10mm WW2 and American Civil War collections, plus many photos added by other users of the directory. You can use any of the links below to navigate around the directory, or use the "10mm" menu link above to go back to my main 10mm resource page.

This directory also contains pictures of various military museums and events I have been to over the past few years including the famous Kubinka Tank Museum just outside Moscow. You can also search the directory by manufacturer, army or keyword.

Anyone can rate the figures just by clicking on the stars beneath each photo. Ratings use a scale of 0-5 where 5 = excellent and 0 = terrible.

If you want to share your own painting and show off your figures to hundreds of gamers around the world, you can even upload your own photos here. Registration for uploading photos is easy and once registered you can also add comments to any of the photos and send any of these images as "e-cards" to your friends.

Alea Jacta Est

The mindbendingly complex game of Roman Warfare from Matrix Games, allowing you to recreate the great campaigns of the Roman Civil Wars in an almost physically painful level of excessive detail.

Alea Jacta Est is one of the few strategy games where the player must face the real dilemmas and challenges of the Romans during the time.

In Alea Jacta Est not only must you build and train armies, maneuver them and engage the enemy, but you must also maintain an economic and diplomatic balance with your neighbors, handle logistics, organise your armies into balanced formations, train generals and deal with a range of historically accurate and painstakingly researched debilitating illnesses and disfigurements all of which will be inflicted on you whilst playing the game, many if not all of which would normally be well within the gft of modern medicine to cure.

Using the successful and famous AGE engine, Alea Jacta Est covers the whole of Europe, Northern Africa, and part of Eastern Europe with a map split into a paltry 2,800 regions, complete with cities, roads, fortifications, weather effects, different types of block paving used in road construction and innumerable enemy and allied tribes and kingdoms, all of which have a significant effect on gameplay.

  • Appoint and fire your commanders!
  • Balance the Treasury of Rome!
  • Plan in a different breakfast cereal for each of your Generals, for every single day of a typical 4-month campaign!
  • Full 240-branch tech tree covering developments in legionary underwear
  • Design unique labels for each vineyard in each winemaking region in your empire
  • "Scratch and sniff" agriculture supplement available covering over 140 different types of farm manure
  • Featuring 5 campaigns from 87 BC to 197 AD, hundreds of historical leaders and their pets, thousands of units and events, Alea Jacta Est is a must-have for any grand strategy fan.
