Intended to use against foot armies - the DBE Germans are almost as good as warband against the spears I suspected I'd be fighting fairly often - but also very scary against mounted. The irregular sub general is a bit daft, but under 3.0 it is possible to hold him back and hopefully have some leeway to throw out a skirmish screen. And, given it is an unwieldy command anyway, that realistically has to be starting in the right place and going straight forwards to have an effect on the game, I felt that having more elements and a higher break point was going to be more important than more control.
