Nikephorian Byzantines at Burton 2026
Returning to the land of beer after a few years away, the opportunity to wheel out my newly painted Byzantines plus the refurbishment of the nearby Premier Inn was all the extra impetus Adam and I needed to get the beers in and make a trip up to the Midlands in the unseasonal spring sunshine.
On the way we took the opportunity to visit the rarely-seen Coventry Airport Air Museum, home of Frank Whittle the pioneer of the Jet Age. It has a lot of cool toys, as you will see in his video of our visit.
