The German Paratroops are among the most resilient, impressive, toughest, hardest to paint and hardest to spell troops in the German army.

This unit is a full Flames of War "worn" platoon of Battlefront figures, painted in the distinctive splinter pattern camo, with various recycled and 2nd hand items of clothing as they have fought their way around every theatre of WW2.

Fallschirmjäger were picked for all sorts of special missions and delivered Death from Above readily. When defending they historically proved impossible to dislodge from towns, villages and entrenchments on both the Eastern and Western fronts, including Monte Cassino. In attack or defence, these beautifully painted boys are ready to help you defend the Fatherland step by dogged step from the Bolshevik hordes and the ever-rising tide of Anglo-American industrial output

They have been carefully painted in a combination of Coat d'arms, Miniature Paints and Humbrol enamels and water-based colours, ink-washed and mat varnished.

And I think it was worth it !
